Living and working in Belgium

In Belgium, we have two of our sister companies are present; one in the Dutch-speaking Flemish part and one in the French-speaking Wallonia part.

Employment rules in Belgium:

• The first contract - for a trial period - lasting 1 month and 1 day
• The second contract for the duration of the project
• Monthly allowance for each child:
  - € 80.17 for the first child
  - € 148.34 for the second child
  - € 221.47 the third and subsequent child
• Entitled to family allowance until the child:
  - reaches its 18th age
  - to finish 25th year of life - only in case of continuation school
  - 21st age of the child in the event of invalidity
• With the birth of a child entitled to a one-off allowance of € 1,086.11. For second and subsequent birth of the child allowance amount is € 817.17.
• Payment of an annual premium of 8.15% of gross income
• Payment of holiday allowance amounting to 15.38% of the total annual revenue
